Terms of service

These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of sensorhubdental.com (the "Site") and any purchase you make from Kashif A. Tai ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. Who may buy

The products we sell are prescription medical devices intended for professional dental use. You may place an order only if you are at least 18 years old, located in the United States, and purchasing as, or on the order of, a licensed dentist or other licensed practitioner, or for a licensed dental practice, school or institution. By placing an order, you confirm that this is true. See our professional-use notice.

2. Product information

We work to describe and show products accurately. Specifications are based on manufacturer documentation, and product images are for illustration. Colors and appearance may vary slightly. If a product you receive isn't as described, your remedy is to return it under our return policy.

3. Prices and availability

Prices are shown in US dollars and don't include sales tax, which is calculated at checkout where applicable. We may change prices and availability at any time, but changes don't affect orders we've already accepted. If a product is listed at an incorrect price because of an error, we'll contact you before shipping and give you the choice to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

4. Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship the product. We may decline or cancel an order, with a full refund, if the product is unavailable, if we can't verify the order meets the requirements in section 1, if we suspect fraud, or if there's a pricing error.

5. Payment

Payment is due at the time of order and is processed by our third-party checkout and payment provider, subject to its terms and privacy policy. You confirm that you're authorized to use the payment method you provide.

6. Shipping and risk of loss

We ship as described in our shipping policy. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the product is delivered to your shipping address.

7. Returns, refunds and warranty

Returns and refunds are governed by our return policy. Product defects are covered by our warranty. Except as stated in the warranty and to the extent permitted by law, products are provided without other warranties, express or implied.

8. Professional use and compliance

You are responsible for installing and using the product according to the manufacturer's instructions, and for complying with all laws that apply to your practice, including radiation-safety rules, X-ray equipment registration, infection control and patient-records requirements. The product supports, and doesn't replace, professional clinical judgment.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or business, arising from the Site or the products. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product won't exceed the amount you paid for that product. Some states don't allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of a product, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of others.

11. Intellectual property and trademarks

The Site's content, design and text are owned by us or our licensors. Carestream Dental, RVG, CS Imaging and CS Adapt are trademarks of their respective owners. We use them only to identify the genuine products we sell, and their use doesn't imply any affiliation with or endorsement by those owners.

12. Use of the Site

You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, unless the law of your state requires otherwise.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page with a new effective date. The version in effect when you place an order applies to that order.
